DFM Service (Design for Manufacturability & Reliability) using Valor NPI:
- 100 percent component coverage. Any components not on file in the Valor library(30+ million components) are created and checked. Customer is contactedwithin 24-48 hrs for any missing datasheet information (component mechanical dimensions)- Standard turn: 48-72 hours. For expedited turn (24-48 hrs, increased fee of 50%)- We generally find at least one item which will require redesign of the fab/PCBand/or change in the BOM (Bill of Materials)§Comprehensive set of DFM rules- Report outlines violations, exact location, and recommended fix / solution- Provide recommended footprint which reduce assembly rework and enhances long term reliability of solder joints- Over 520 checks performed, comprehensive set of DFM rules, plus netlist and BOM validation- Require excel BOM which includes Manufactuer Part Number plus reference designator- Require CAD Data.
